The Sky Is Clear

The sky is clear
 I have no fear
 it will not rain
I could gain
 I ventured out
 I had to scout
 my hunt took long
 I  searched for too long
the sky is dark and dense
 I could not sense
whether it would rain or not
 came out with determination stout
 moved fast from the place
 could see the rain in trace
 almost ran across the road
never tried to board
the rains came fast
 I was put in a cast
 mind not I the downpour  heavy
 walked home drenched fully.
