Election And A Win

It is an election
 five years once
 the winner rises high
 not in power alone
 but all in  wealth too
 five years is enough
 to earn and survive
  not to survive  alone
  to wallow  also

 lie in the lap of luxury
 with cars and sprawling homes
deigned in rich and splendour
 all too  much for the rest of life.
