A Birthday

it was a birthday
 not a celebration
 just a wish all through
 as I feel it is a day
 as special as other days
 nothing great in a way
 nothing unique in a way
 being born on that day
 what did you do to that day?
 lived so many more days
 what have you done to all the days?
 it is pretty nothing in a sense
 lived all along with no sense
 eat, sleep, and eat and sleep
 that has been the style of life
not only for me but to the rest of us.
