The Promotions

It is the lust
 that leads to dust
 a womaniser kisses women
soon finds him not in heaven
the desire for money
puts him in a place funny
the drunkard  drinks ounces and pegs
almost entwined with the legs
the smoker puffs and lungs
 finds himself with diseased lungs
it is greed and avarice
 that turns one feverish
never do they make out of one better
 anybody healthier and wealthier
ditch him into a pit  of horror.
