The wind lashes
The lightning flashes
The rain pours
The sea rises
The rivers flood.
The picture looks horrid
A week back it was torrid.
Sydney is inundated
Houses are devastated
It is an eyesore.
The scene is fearful,
The city wonderful
is under water
submerged and subdued
in
great distress.
