Aching Knee

A sprain in my knee
 very common  as of now
 hurts mightily
as I bend and bow
 a swelling in a bulge
above the knee
puts up a dodge
as I could see
a plain discomfort
and an immobility
 pain shoots up
affecting my stability
I stand up
 straining myself
 I have to rest
 and restrict  myself
the resolution best
for an aching knee.

The Fan

It is a fan
 not an electrical fan
it is a fan
 not an admiring fan
who praises sky high
 and breaks the tie
 it is a fan
not one that fans
raises smoke in a sense
causes a ripple of tense
 it is a fan
not a belt with a suffix fan
 that propels the machine
releases the tension
 it is a fan
 a handmade fan
 beautiful and delicate

On My Window.

On my window
 there is a sparrow
small and sweet
makes a chirpy tweet
sounds like a greet
it does every day
in a lively play
my day begins well
the startups swell
 I do my chore
 of  lively four
 one of writing
 the other is reading
mostly a gazing
with a lot of eating.

The Water Gun Shots----- As Boys Play.

A morning of fun

 boys played with guns

 a shot here and a shot there 

went the guns all bare 

the boys made  lots of noises 

with sounds of their choice 

du sum, du sum  they shouted

 the entire area was routed 

 could hear the sound of machine guns 

 along with the rifles  in rounds 

it was a war with a significance 

 boys got

involved without interference 

 could be a game  in a way 

 really it  is a dangerous play.
