A Hot Day

It is a hot day
 temperatures run high
  being humid all the way
heaves come up with a sigh
 the clothes get damp
 the body perspires
wish to  be in the  slump
 will it inspire?
 the heat penetrates everywhere
 keeps me without a clue
I sulk and slope down
 my skin turns brown
 be the effect of heat
 unable to beat.
