I heard so many stories
not of fairies
it was a grievance
not without reference
girls of families in most
feel dejected almost
they being rejected by their kin
who cause utmost din
cause being the financials.
These girls cry out with grief
know not how to beef
feel dull and depressed
more or less they are oppressed
as being in my land
that be India in a grand
where male members dominate
and behave with a strong dictate
cause being the financials.
The girls have no say in the family
once married they are out of the family
have to live a life different from the one
with an adjustment to the one
get along with the in-laws
could prescribe no clause
a style of life classic in a way
being in a lively play
cause being the financials.
