A Sojourn Tedious.

It is a sojourn
 a practice as of one
 a stay in a country
 might be for the half year
 a flight to another
soon after
 seems to be tedious
 a way of life
 I have to work
 could be one of exhaustion
 I do comply
 accept the prerogatives
 that be the assumption
 I cross all the days
with a feel of satisfaction.

He is an Intruder

He is an intruder
 comes in and goes out
 not that I mean literally
 mean I in the life
 knows not his limitation
 let him live
 do not bother.

A gypsy life
 falls not in any code
 does not profess a conduct
 bohemian they are
 nice to see them
 predict the future
with a stick in hand.

Being Mother's day
 all mothers are remembered with love
 past and present.

Drink water as much as you can
 goes through your system

 never restrict drinking plain water.

 for days together
 spreads north and south

 only rain could appease

Seven Dogs

Seven dogs out in the yard
 make a lot of noise
 bark they for long
 whimper for no known time
 fight with each other
 make life miserable
yet they remain there
 none to drive them out
as I fear dogs the most.

Call him a busy man
 I would vouchsafe for it
 as he sits not in one place
walks up and down
 without an aim
 not for any particular cause.

A Foolhardy Person

He never smiles
 if so with a loud laugh
 where the guffaw is prominent
 a painstakingly disciplined man
 feigns most of the time
 a foolhardy person.

He Does Not Stammer.

He speaks with a drawl
 never able to complete
 it is not a stammer
 it is a disability
 could not accomplish
 nor could connect
 mostly unable to finish
 a sentence  in full.

She is Funny

She speaks most
 very talkative in a way
 funny she is.

He is bad.

He is bad
 makes me feel so sad
 he is bad.

The Gem

He calls often
 talks in a voice soften
 he is the  best of all
 the gem of culprits in all.

Elections were held
 to choose candidates
 who govern the nation.

 to pay little money before
 and make big money after.

 never uttered the word can't

 speaks for the one
 this time with love
 talks for another

Being hard to believe him
 better not consider him
 leave him in his corner
pay no heed at all
 mind not his words
as he could not be trusted.

 an adorable sight in all

Being much ado
the fuss over mostly nothing
 a  mean snob.

A Carnival

A carnival it was
 with shops too many
 all under canopies
 being one of  the makeshifts
 close together, they were
sold all kinds of products
 right from the sweets
 to the sarees and churidars '
all in colours variant
 the savouries being in red
yellow and green all very bright
 and the dresses too gaudy and intricate
be there for ten long days
 braving the heat and rain
 the people around had a good experience
 a way to spend their time
 and the money they had saved
 every year this takes place
 being very productive year after year
 been there for a century and a quarter
an earning to the town council
 known as majlis in Malaysia
 the event is in Teluk Intan
 a laid back town of Perak
 clustered with oil palm plantations
 as always planters are easy going
 never they are in a hurry
 likewise, the carnival  stays long
adjusting to the people's temperament.
  

A Manager and his Wife.

An unorganised man he is
 talks always in a hurry
 walks all the same
sits not in one place.

He is a manager, in reality,
 thinks he is above his master
 behaves so imperious as always
 a  cranky person in all.

His wife is another  misdoer
 behaves the husband does
 could say even more royal
 knows not her place.

Both of them go around
 intercepting everyone
 never bother about others
 leave so not even their master.

Like a herd.

Drives he mad
 explains he every detail
 he feels sad
 if none follows him in the trail
 angry he becomes
 points to the door
 curses he in a lump sum
 creates a galore.

Mostly people keep away from him
 he condescends not
 if the near and dear walk away from him
 he accepts not
 wants them to be with him
 hearing his harsh words
 rude and ruthless he  deems
 treats everyone like a herd.

 fears he nothing

 could be a rare one
 could be  far fetched
yet I demand from you.

 it could make me happy
 well, life is to be happy
 so I demand from you.

hope you would heed
 come with it at once
 I demand from you.

"I am great"
 thinks he
 everyone is great
 as everyone feels
 greatness is not
something very cheap
 it is not a commodity
 to be bought and sold
it is a quality excellent
could be achieved with effort
 not easily by a play
 as the saying goes
 some ar born great
 some have greatness
 thrust upon them
 some achieve greatness
 that be the terms
 not everyone could become great.

Heart Loses its Tremor.

The days go by
 encounter a lot of delays
unable to go about my way
 it has been a lifetime
 seen no rhyme
whatsoever, be it in wealth
 be it in health
 that is not all a strength
 being a destiny I conclude
 playing hard on me  rather rude
 accept I without a murmur
 while my heart  loses its tremor
 well, it is to me all through.

 let us not shun
 his comments do hold
 as he is very bold
few remarks are praiseworthy
 others are not worthy
 take that which are appropriate
 leave the others as inappropriate
 go with your writing

 A city of importance
 Kuala Lumpur  professes
a great distinction
 cosmopolitan in outlook
 not very expensive
 a city of  potential
heavily trafficked
 a beautiful place
 with a lot of attractions
 the twin towers of recent
 to the Bird's park to nature lovers
 malls of sophistication all over
 high rise buildings stand atop
 with a weather pleasant
 rains every evening
 the city of the east
 could be dubbed
as an affordable one
 whilst Singapore  being adjacent
 speaks discipline and decorum
 this city is not very tight in a sense
 prone to burglary and mini thefts
 it has a grace of its own
 being simple to simple folks
 claiming  snobbishness too
 where people turn to be fashionable
 a city to you and me and all

 that could be its call.
