The Talk of The Town --- idiom

It is a talk of the town
could raise a frown
 an idiomatic expression
now taken for a discussion
 talks go all around
 not stopped in one round
 as they circulate freely
  their origin not known exactly
 it goes from mouth to  mouth
with stories almost unquote
from where it sprang no one  knows

 how did emanate none knows
 yet it is talked wildly and possibly
with additions and deletions  noticeably
the talk of the town as we perceive
 becomes a source to believe.
