My Encounter

A loud knock
got up in a shock
unlocked the lock.

Could see none
rushed out with a gun
did anyone run?

Searched all through
could not get a clue
someone from blue.

Locked the door
 heard a very loud roar
my spirits soar.

Opened once again
stood a monkey  in chain
monkey well trained.

Grinning at me
 he entered with a glee
I was scary.

Gathered my wit
gave the monkey a hit
it ran away.
