Thousands of islands around the ocean
great and small, big and tiny
yet beautiful and lively in proportion
look like pebbles that surround the ocean
a sail through the thousand islands
half of them in the United States
being big and massive on undulating land
the remaining in Canada
lovely though small in size
as we cruised around with the sea calm
found an immense tranquillity not dicey
the wind was soothing and kept us in the form
not so rough as tho our hair being flown
gentle and breezy our appearance not deformed
with eyes cast all around I enjoyed the visitation
still the thousand islands remain in my vision.
