 thinks the  grandmother

The baby suddenly stops her cry
she  smiles  with joy
 to the amazement  of the grandmother
 the baby smiles all the more.

The baby is in her mother's arms
she sleeps in peace
resting her head on her mother's bosom
the baby  snugs close to the mother.
