A Day Of Lights

It is a day of lights
 where every house lights oil lamps
 the belief being great
 one of not a mundane hope
 could bring in prosperity
 not one of material wealth alone
 e it wisdom and brilliance
 shown in the lamp which burns
 with a modest light all too moderate
 an encomium of lights  all adorned
 lovely and decorative with an adornment
 an admiration of great consequence
 a  fortunate  designation all too great.
