MIke Echoes

The mike echoes

 the loudspeakers blow
 there is a high tempo
  the election on the way
every street reverberates
 even the streams resonate
 only for a fortnight
 then it would turn lull
 no sound whatsoever
except for the clatter of coins
 mean the counting of currency
 the elected candidates are eligible.
