A Familiar Sound.

  It is a familiar sound
 whistle from the cooker
 every morning I hear
 right through the years
 if not mistaken

through thirty years
 once ,twice, even thrice
 depends on nature
 that of rice every day
others being vegetables and dhal
 all done together if at all
 or cooked on different timings
 not a day passes without it
