A small stone
being a pebble
seen in the rubble
colourful it was
many shades with a gloss
none noticed it at all
a pebble be it in all
beautiful it looked
valuable it hooked
picked up the stone slowly
slid it into my pocket gently
forgot about it wholly
thought of it much later
carelessly took it rather
checked its veracity confidentially
gosh it was a treasure incredibly.
