Borrowed Glory

Borrowed glory it seems
 could call it reflected glory
 being so of a borrowed existence
 one that of a reflected existence
 where one cannot survive independently
 relies on others for a living
 a shame on him whoever it might be
 yet people do live like that all their life.

Taking A Loan

Having taken a loan
 she went off all happy
 knowing not she has to pay
 pay not the loan alone
 pay it with interest
 an additional burden to her
 already hand to mouth existence
 only bothered about today
 not thought of tomorrow.

A Likelihood Of Grace

She does not gossip
 nor she preaches
 she is quiet
 keeps to herself
 poses a smile
 not bewitching
 very sweet
 soft and gentle.

Magnanimous.

Magnanimous he is
 not only in money
 also in thoughts
 liberal in his views
 extends help to all
 not once but always.

Condemn nature

Do not condemn nature
 for if in turn it scorns
 you would be nowhere
beware of its fury
 behave modestly

Man's Own Folly.

An excess be it rain or shine

could be a bane  or a boon

could not be averted  at any cost

it is nature's way of dealing

a shortfall or an abundance

could spell a  doom to mankind

all the more they could be prevented

a storage of surplus water  in lakes and ponds

as well in dams and reservoirs be the usual terms

while the lakes and ponds are no where to be found

with universities and apartments growing over there

the flow of water enters the town and floods the roads

finds its way into the buildings and houses

carrying with it the dirt, rubbish, snakes and wasp

people raise a hue and a cry  and bemoan

being their own folly as could be seen

yet they do not turn for the good  in attempts

go about  on their own accord after the havoc

memory being short and strange as all.

The night is dark
 no source of light
 dark and black it is
 sends a frighten
 want to runaway
