The habit of taking bags for shopping 

that been from the days of yore 

 has dwindled in the course of time  in core

 none wish to carry bags from home for purchasing 

 pick and choose the requirements in the store

 packed in carry bags  nicely looking

 come home, unpack and throw it out of the door 

 they go first into the dustbin in a throwing 

then to the streets where they lie all the more

 scattered all round the lanes  oozing 

 be there for long in rose, yellow and blue

 as the bags come in shades  different 

 a time after they emanate a smell  in true

foul and incorrigible all the more diffident 

 they do not decay all through 

 lie there for years together being impertinent 

 spoiling the soil with a vengeance  

 a pollution  horrible of a great extent

 bought  by the people with an irreverence 

as the carry bags are levied instant 

not they cost too much  in reference

 only a paltry sum henceforth as known

literally it being small with an inference 

 metaphorically  it is expensive   as shown

  we leave the earth defunct  by our interference 

  our progeny  would  be made to groan
