Greece In Pain

Greece  an ancient land
mother of civilization
 exerted a magical wand
 caught the world's attention
  epics and literature  abound
Gods and Goddesses many
myths and beliefs surround
 held sway over the world
 the most famous being
Alexander The Great with his sword
conquered the whole world  in a wink
stands now amidst debts too much
finds itself in a piquancy
unable to pay back  as such
 is in great pain and in an urgency
repayment being its concern
 the other European nations  are in trouble
they know not how to discern
 well, the Grecian grief nibbles.
